Exploration of the notions of belonging and territory, solitude, forms of language, human interaction. Research into materials and their meaning & the place of abstraction in contemporary art.

Current projects:

Zantou: ongoing process of deciphering Japanese origins, and how to express belonging when it is made inaccessible culturally, communicationally and physically/geographically.

HDPUS: exploration of mass-produced plastics in packaging & consumer goods through the tangibility of the substance & use of its mutability as a means to reconnect to the consumed and the present.
